HR Group Appoints General Manager for Hyatt House Eschborn and the Adagio Access Freiburg
Hyatt House Eschborn: Thorsten Altmann becomes General Manager in the new building
Since August 2019 Thorsten Altmann takes over the position of General Manager for the under-construction Hyatt House in Eschborn. Thorsten Altmann, an experienced hotelier, joins the HR Group. The trained hotel specialist has been in the hotel business for more than ten years active. After first experiences as Front Office Manager followed stations as General Manager and Cluster General Manager as well as the accompaniment of a pre-opening in Frankfurt. Now, Thorsten Altmann is in his new Function responsible for the pre-opening phase of Hyatt House Eschborn, which is currently under construction, and will then be responsible for its Takeover.
The house operated by the HR Group will be a Longstay guests-oriented Hotel. Thus, about two thirds of the 190 rooms have their own kitchenette. In addition to the Hyatt House Eschborn, the HR Group appoints a further new project a competent leadership. Pia Weschle, already since 2018 part of the hotel operating company, accompanied as assistant manager the successful pre-opening in the Ibis Styles Stuttgart Vaihingen. Since August 2019 she will be part of the upcoming Adagio Access Freiburg. For the market entry in Freiburg in Breisgau - the first house of the HR Group at this location - the hotel group continues with Pia Weschle on a native of Freiburg. Before she started for the Pre-Opening in Stuttgart to the HR Group, Pia Weschle successfully graduated her dual degree in business administration with the focus on Tourism and Travel. In this context, she gained extensive experience in marketing and sales at one of the leading German holiday home providers Interchalet. This was followed by stations at the ClubMed Front Desk in France and Martinique as well as at the reception desk, in the Reservation and Convention Sales in Ibis- and Mercure-Houses in Stuttgart. In her new Position as hotel manager of the upcoming Adagio Access Freiburg, Pia Weschle is initially responsible for the pre-opening phase. The official opening of the building is scheduled for spring 2020.
The first hotel of the HR Group in Freiburg will be 150 rooms in the form of studios comprise. Also, for this object, the hotel operator company offers special deals for business travelers, who plan longer stays. All studios will be equipped with free W-Lan and a fully equipped kitchen. The extensive breakfast as well as a cleaning service will complement the concept.
