HR Group grows with strong leaders: Skilled newcomers and long-standing team members as new Area and General Managers
This team is now being strengthened by two new talented managers with many years of experience in the hotel industry: Sven von Jagemann has been working as Area Manager for Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region since December 2019, while Nicole Christoph-Käfer joined the team in February 2020 as General Manager of the Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd. In addition, the HR Group continues to focus on the internal promotion of employees and has filled three management positions in its companies with experts from its own ranks.
Expertise for Frankfurt/Rhine-Main: Sven von Jagemann is the new Area Manager
With seven hotels, the HR Group has a strong presence in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main area and will continue to expand there in the future - the most recent addition is the Hyatt House Frankfurt Eschborn. The newly opened Longstay hotel with 190 rooms and studios offers optimal conditions particularly for long-term professional stays. In order to further strengthen the region, the Berlin-based group now relies on Sven von Jagemann, an experienced hotelier. For over 20 years, the trained hotel manager has held management positions in German and Austrian hotels. Amongst others, he managed the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Burg Wernberg, the Hotel HerzogsPark in Herzogenaurach, the Dorint Vital Royal Spa Seefeld in Tyrol and the Schlosshotel Kronberg located in the Taunus Mountains, after which he became Operations Manager for Freigeist & Friends, where he managed the hotel activities. Since December 2019, he has been Area Manager Frankfurt/RhineMain, bringing his strategic and operational experience to the HR Group's successful concept.
Nicole Christoph-Käfer appointed General Manager at the Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd
For the Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd, the HR Group relies on years of experience and a high level of expertise: Nicole ChristophKäfer, a trained hotel specialist, looks back on over 20 years in leading positions in the national and international business and leisure hotel industry as well as in the field of hotel openings. As hotel director she was last active in Austria and Croatia before she successfully took over as general manager of the Siebenquell GesundZeitResort. Since 1 February 2020 she has been managing the Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd, which is operated by the HR Group, and will continue to build on the success of the hotel.
New managers in Munich, Schweinfurt and Garmisch-Partenkirchen - reinforcement from within the company’s own ranks
Markus Hüttinger has transferred within the group to the Ramada by Wyndham München Airport. There he took up the position of hotel manager on February 17, 2020. After holding various management positions in the F&B division at Leonardo Hotels, the trained hotel manager has been supporting the HR Group since 2018, first as Duty Operation Manager at Mercure Hotel München Neuperlach Süd, and then as Interim Hotel Manager. A few weeks ago, Tobias Wagner was promoted from Interim Hotel Manager to Hotel Manager. He is now permanently in charge of the Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt Maininsel. The trained hotel specialist has been working for the HR Group in the hotel for four years - initially as banquet sales manager. Since February 2020, Eva Binder has taken over as General Manager of the Mercure Hotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The trained restaurant specialist with more than 30 years of professional experience in the hotel industry previously worked at the HR Group-operated Hotel Pullman Stuttgart Fontana for 12 years, most recently as Human Resources & Quality Manager.
