10 years HR Group - The management grows, the success continues

In order to be optimally positioned for further growth, the HR Group is constantly developing its structures. The management level is strengthened with proven experts from outside as well as from within the company's own ranks.

With the experienced and strong members of our Management Board, we are ideally positioned for this," says Ruslan Husry, founder and Managing Director of the HR Group.

In addition to Ruslan Husry, Dr. Bettina Dutter, Björn Weidner and Eric Buitenhuis will be appointed managing directors of HRG Hotels GmbH with immediate effect. The Management Board of the HR Group is responsible for the successful operation of the HR Group.

Since the foundation of the HR Group in 2009, Björn Weidner has been Chief Legal Officer at Ruslan Husry's side and has been responsible for all legal aspects of the company. Previously, as a lawyer, he advised his clients comprehensively on commercial and real estate law issues. Eric Buitenhuis has been responsible for the operational management of the hotel operations since 2016. The COO was previously General Manager for Novotel, AccorHotels and Sofitel, VICE President for Novotel Canada and VICE President for Novotel Canada and Regional Director of Operations for NH Hotels in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and South Africa. At the beginning of this year, the successful economist Dr. Bettina Dutter joined the HR Group's management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). From 2007 to 2017, she headed the Corporate Accounting & Taxes division of the listed conwert real estate Invest SE, one of Austria's largest property groups. Most recently, as Managing Director of the conwert Group, she was responsible for the merger of conwert with the DAX30 company Vonovia.

Operating hotel companies with extended management level

For the operative hotel companies, the HR Group relies on the experience and competence of its own team. As Managing Director of the Western Region, Anja Hermann will be jointly responsible for the operating hotel companies. She was previously Regional Director of the Western Region. Her expertise is based on her studies at the renowned Cornell University and over 18 years of experience as General Manager and Director Human Resources Midscale Central Europe at Accor Hotels. At present 16 houses stand under the direction of the experienced hotel manager. Also the two lining up new openings of the HR Group - the Hyatt House Frankfurt Eschborn and the Adagio Access Freiburg - lie in her area of responsibility. Michael Klinger will be appointed Managing Director of the Eastern Region by the Regional Director. After leading positions in hotel operations of the Accor and Hilton groups, he initially began to contribute to the success of the HR Group as General Manager in 2011. Since 2016, the expert for successful operational hotel management has been Regional Director and is responsible for 18 hotels in his region.
